Compete in the MCI GB

The MCI GB offers dressage tests at all levels from Young Horse classes up to Grand Prix. To qualify for the European Finals, each combination must be a member of the MCI GB and must achieve a minimum of three scores plus one score at the relevant freestyle. To qualify for the GB National Championship Show, each combination must be a member of the MCI GB and must achieve a minimum of ONE score.

The MCI GB National Championships will be held at Addington Manor Equestrian, Buckinghamshire on the 7th and 8th September 2024. addington.co.uk

MCI GB Nationals Qualification:

To qualify for the MCI GB National Championship Show:

1) each combination must be a member of the MCI GB

2) each combination must achieve a minimum of one score of 60% or above at the chosen level, this will automatically allow this combination to compete in the Freestyle at that level without gaining a separate qualifying score:

Example - 1 score in the Golega at 60% will allow you to compete in the Carmencita without gaining a qualifying freestyle score. We strongly encourage you to try out your freestyle test before the National Championships to iron out any niggles !

MCI EUROPEAN FINALS QUALIFICATION:

To qualify for the MCI European Championships with the opportunity to represent Great Britain, you need a minimum of 3 scores at your chosen level (for levels 1 to 6) plus 1 freestyle score at the following minimum percentages.

The Young Horse level championship qualification is three scores at 66% or above in the Primera and Novilla, there is no freestyle test for Young Horses.

LEVEL 1 - GOLEGA - 64%

LEVEL 2 - SEVILLA - 64%

LEVEL 3 - LISBOA - 63%

LEVEL 4 - MADRID - 61%

LEVEL 5 - MAGISTRALE - 60%

LEVEL 6 - REYALE - 60%

Freestyles at levels 1 to 6 – you must achieve a minimum percentage of :

CARMENCITA AND FLAMENCA – More than 65%

FANDANGO - More than 64%

LUSITANIA – More than 63%

BAILARINA AND IBERICA – More than 62%

The European Finals will be held at the Equestrian Center Exloo, 27A Valtherweg, 7875 TA Exloo, the Netherlands from the 23rd to the 27th October 2024. https://www.hippischcentrumexloo.nl/

All scores will be added to the annual league table for final selection to represent Great Britain at the MCI European Finals. These scores can be obtained at the same venue but must be on different dates and the minimum percentages must be achieved.
